There is no weekly closing day here — you can come any day of the week.

Opening hours are 09:00 to 22:00. It stays open into the evening, which is usually the calmest and coolest time to come. Tour groups tend to arrive mid-morning and again after lunch; the first hour after opening is normally the quietest stretch of any day.
